These shadow sculptures are very, very interesting, as well as beautiful constructions despite their sense-defying nature. Looking at these works of art for me, offers an insight into how we as people attribute life and meaning to inanimate things or give substance to the abstract — the redirection of light as pockets of shadow being likely one of the most inanimate or abstract things.
